The live sound engineering course is hands on and first class. Get stuck into real equipment in real scenarios everyday.
Learn the essential skills you will need for a career in live sound and apply what you have learnt by working with our bands everyday.
You will cover everything from theory to problem solving and go on industry visits to see what it is really like to be an engineer in the field.
This course is purpose-designed to give each student the very best opportunity to enter the industry or succeed in whatever audio projects they are involved in.
Daniel Meakin

Hello! Just a little about myself... I'm a freelance audio engineer and design consultant, born and raised in Zimbabwe and now based in the UK for the past ten years. Most of my experience is in audio but I do have significant experience in consultancy covering sound, video, lighting, power, rigging and noise management. I've worked with clients including Wigwam Acoustics, Trent Vineyard, Manchester City Council, and Capita Symonds. I've also toured with bands and artists including Scars on Broadway, The Deftones, Incubus, and Franz Ferdinand, and am regularly involved in the New Wine summer conference in Shepton Mallet, where I've been the venue manager and sound engineer/designer for Venue 2 for the past six years.
