From an early age Tim had a passion for rhythm, and from the age of 7 he recalls asking his parents if he could play the drums.  Sadly his parents had to endure a few years of violin “playing” before he was allowed drum lessons at age 11.   Since then, he’s never looked back.

Tim joined his church music group aged 15 and shortly after was asked to play for singer/songwriter David Hoffbrand.  This was a great education for Tim, getting the opportunity to play with some excellent musicians.
Since his humble beginnings he has gone on to play and record with many artists and on many projects.  For the past few years Tim played for Lee Mitchell as well as appearing with Brett Garsed and Guthrie Govan.  He has also worked with Paul Holman Associates (2 seasons; Redditch and Rickmansworth), The Oxford Playhouse and Opus Create Ltd (MSC Poesia ship launch).  Tim has also gigged in France, Croatia and Holland and has played at conferences abroad and in the UK.

Tim has a passion for technique that equips drummers to express themselves and enables them to play with feel and heart.  In doing so he has travelled to America to study with the great Dom Famularo and has had lessons with UK session player Donavan Hepburn (Take That, Ms Dynamite, Rhianna, Mis-teeq).
