Bass Course
Introduction
If you love playing the bass than come join the department at Nexus that keeps the beat going. Throughout the year you will study a number of techniques that will give you the freedom to express yourself more effectively on your instrument. You will also study a wide variety of styles from Rock to pop, Latin to Jazz and Blues to Gospel.
As part of the year you will be assigned to bands and will perform most weeks in our performance hall. This is a great part of the year that really allows students to develop their live playing.
To get the most from your classes you will have your own practice amp as well as access to our range top of the market rigs.
This is an intense year of music like none you have ever experienced before. Come be a part of it and see how God's gifting in you can grow! Open days for this year are on:

Course Tutor
Born in 1987 in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, Sam first picked up a bass at the age of 13 to accompany his brother in an alternative three piece rock band called Mortimer. Nuneaton isn't particularly well known for its bursting music scene, however, it does have a good circuit of pubs and function suites that serve well for the local band. It was this circuit that allowed Sam to start gigging immediately and pick up the traits of the trade on-the-go.
