Bass Course
Introduction
If you love playing the bass than come join the department at Nexus that keeps the beat going. Throughout the year you will study a number of techniques that will give you the freedom to express yourself more effectively on your instrument. You will also study a wide variety of styles from Rock to pop, Latin to Jazz and Blues to Gospel.
As part of the year you will be assigned to bands and will perform most weeks in our performance hall. This is a great part of the year that really allows students to develop their live playing.
To get the most from your classes you will have your own practice amp as well as access to our range top of the market rigs.
This is an intense year of music like none you have ever experienced before. Come be a part of it and see how God's gifting in you can grow!
Course Tutor
Ant grew up in oxford, England and has since lived in a couple different areas of the country before settling in the great Coventry! He has played bass since he was 15, his first professional experience being a tour with the ‘Fijidots’, signed to ex Pink-floyd manager ‘Barry Murray’s’ label ‘Bamaco. In this time Ant showcased, recorded, released and gigged up and down the country for two years before deciding to study at Nexus.
