How long have you been at Nexus?
I was a student here from 2000-2002 and started working here in 2004.

What is your favourite part about working at Nexus?
I love interacting with the other staff and students, sharing life together. It’s a fantastic environment to be in.

What is the one thing you would like to do before you die?
I love going to and experiencing new places and cultures and would love to see more of the amazing world we live in, especially Africa and the South Pacific.

What is your major achievement to date?
My son, Leo, who was born at Christmas 2008.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love spending time with my husband and my little boy Leo, especially outdoors in the sunshine. If we lived near the mountains, I would most definitely spend time snowboarding and hiking.

What are people surprised to learn about you?
That I spent 6 weeks in Yemen, Jordan, & Israel when I was 19 and that I had my tongue pierced (and was well into punk and ska).

If you could write a book, what would it be about?
The unperceived differences between Brits and Americans.

In two sentences or less, how has your faith changed you?
My journey of discovery of the vast love and grace of God and the fact that that grace enables me to become LIKE Him, representing Him through my life in the ordinariness of the everyday. Why would I want to live flawed in my own way when He offers us the opportunity to live successfully in His?
