I was a student for two years from 2006 and I’ve been working at the school since January 2009.
What is your favourite part about working at Nexus?
What is the one thing you would like to do before you die?
One thing?! That’s hard…I would love to have worked to help end prostitution and human trafficking in India.
What is your major achievement to date?
Sharing a living relationship with God for the past 21 years. It’s been breath taking.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Reading, writing, watching movies, eating good food, spending time with good friends.
What are people surprised to learn about you?
That my middle name is Wytske (my Dutch grandma’s name).
If you could write a book, what would it be about?
That is something I actually want to do…I would write it about love (not romance), the different forms of it throughout a life.

Imogen Heap, Thomas Newman, Radiohead, Michael Buble, Feeder, Elbow, Mutemath, Iron & Wine, Bjork, Feist, Jon Foreman, Brooke Fraser, Empire of the Sun, La Roux, Paramore…the list is endless, it’s too hard to just pick a few!
In two sentences or less, how has your faith changed you?
In growing up with Christ I have learnt what is important and what is not. God has managed to cast aside the things I need to let go of and made me understand I can be the better person he has designed me to be.
