Can I visit Nexus?
Yes. Please see the Open Day section of our website.
Does Nexus offer part time courses?
No. Nexus only offer full time courses. Private lessons are available, please see the 'Can I get private lessons?' question.
How long does the course last?
The course runs as an academic year, starting in September and finishing in July.
What are the term dates?
The term dates for the 2010-2011 academic year:
Term 1 - 20th September to 11th December. Half term week commencing 25th October.
Term 2 - 10th January to 8th April. Half term week commencing 21st February.
Term 3 - 2nd May to 9th July. Half term week commencing 30th May.
Fees, Costs and Funding
How much are tuition fees?
£3,948.00 for the 2010-2011 academic year. There is also a £260 acceptence fee that is required in addition to the course fees on accepting a place at Nexus.
How can fees be paid?
Either 3 equal instalments of £1,316 at the beginning of each term, or 1 payment of £1,316 and 8 monthly instalments of £329. Fees can also be paid in full at the start of year.
Can I pay fees by credit card?
No.
Accommodation
Where do students live?
Students live in rented houses near to Nexus, with other Nexus students usually in a house of 4-6. We work with several local landlords around Coventry that we have built good relationships with over the last several years.
Is it guaranteed that I will be placed in a Nexus house?
No. We place most of our students in Nexus houses, but for applicants that apply very close to our start date we cannot guarantee a place in a Nexus house. We will do everything we can to work out our housing situation to accommodate you, but cannot guarantee housing for everyone.
